Terms
These terms cover this website and nothing else. They are short because the site is informational, not a service.
1. Who you are dealing with
This site is published by Forward Agents, Inc. ("Forward Agents", "we", "us").
2. Nothing here is an offer
This is the clause that matters. Nothing on this site is an offer, a quote, a proposal or a contract, and it creates no obligation on either side. That includes descriptions of our approach, agents and case studies, figures and timelines, and any email exchange that follows from the site.
Client work is governed only by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, together with any statement of work under it. No engagement begins, and nothing is owed in either direction, until that agreement is signed. If anything on this site appears to conflict with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
3. Examples and figures
Agents, case studies, timelines and results shown on the site illustrate the kind of work we do. They aren't a promise about what any particular engagement will involve, cost or achieve.
4. The content of this site
The text, design, illustrations and code of this site belong to us. Quote it, link to it, cite it; that's fine. Don't republish it wholesale or pass it off as your own. Photographs are used under their photographers' licenses.
Other companies' names and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners. They identify companies our team has worked at or built with, and don't imply that those companies endorse Forward Agents.
5. It isn't advice, and it may be out of date
Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial or technical advice. Details change. The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and we don't guarantee that it will be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.
6. Using the contact form
Please send only what's needed to start a conversation, and nothing confidential: no passwords, personal data about others, or trade secrets. Sending a message doesn't create a client relationship or any duty of confidentiality until a written agreement says so. How we handle what you send is described in our privacy page.
7. Links out
Where the site links to other sites, those sites belong to someone else, are governed by their own terms, and aren't our responsibility.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts located in New York County.
