Privacy

This website collects very little. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking pixels. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.

The site itself

The site is a set of static pages. The JavaScript on it runs only to animate the illustrations and to send the contact form. We set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising or session-recording tools, which is why there is no cookie banner.

Two other parties see ordinary technical information when you load a page:

• Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) to deliver and secure the site. We don't use them to profile visitors.
• Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts load, under Google's own privacy policy.

If you use the contact form

The form asks for your name, work email, company, an optional area of interest and a message. When you press send, those details go to our server and are delivered to us as an email through Resend, an email delivery service. Nothing is stored in a database on the site. We use what you send only to reply to you and discuss possible work.

The form includes a hidden field that catches automated spam. It doesn't track you.

If you email us

Writing to us means we hold your message and your address, because that is what email is. We keep correspondence as long as it takes to answer you, and afterwards as an ordinary business record. We don't add you to a mailing list; there is no mailing list. We don't sell, rent or share your contact details with anyone.

Our mail is hosted by a third-party email provider, which processes messages to deliver them, under its own terms.

Client engagements

Work for clients is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page. Where an engagement involves personal data, the client is the data controller and Forward Agents acts as a processor on the client's documented instructions, under a data processing agreement where one is required.

Access is limited to what the work requires. Client data is not used to train models and is not reused on other engagements.

Your rights, and contact

Forward Agents, Inc. is responsible for this site. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, write to hello@buildingforward.ai. We'll answer within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or California's CCPA may give you further rights over your information. We'll honor them, and you can exercise them the same way.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
